August is shaping up to be a big hit for games!
With the PC release of the 2012 XBLA summer smash hit Spelunky hitting tomorrow, it sets off the month in very good stead.
Following close behind, August 13th reveals the Remastered version of Ducktales hitting the Wii U, PC and the PS3 the day after.
Also falling in on August 13th is the long awaited sequel to Payday: The Heist – Payday 2
Reverge Labs attempt at a 2D tournament fighter, Skullgirls, arrives on PC just in time for Thursday 22nd.
Smashing in the following day, the 23rd, is the all new super-powered President of the USA. Saints Row 4 coming to your PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. Are you ready to rule America your own way? The special edition, although expensive, is coming in with a 12″ Dubstep Gun in tow.
It seems that the 23rd of August is the day the aliens are fighting back, as the next iteration of XCOM, The Bureau: XCOM Declassified lands down. Also for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
Rounding out this big month for games, Arcade and AAA alike, is Lost Planet 3 for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 and Rayman Legends for PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U respectively.
