By definition, a launch trailer is one there to synergise with a launch. Along with the game, the trailer comes out to get people interested. What happens if you launch the trailer early, and users go to Game/Gamestop and ask for it? They get turned away. Well, Assassin’s Creed IV’s trailer has done just that.
Interesting notes: it’s a pirate journey, not many things explode, and you’ve still got another few weeks to wait before it hits the shelves.
Release date is 22nd November for consoles (PS4, XB1, PS3, X360, Wii U), and later for PC.
